Rio faz Design
This typographic "building block" system by Gustavo Ferreira, an MA student from our partner university ESDI in Rio de Janiero, brings to the field of typface design for screen use the degree of flexibility previously known in traditional typography. The user can select from a wide range of typefaces and alphabets and can design them to fit the needs of the individual application. Letter widths, heights, and stroke weights can be varied to create the ideal typeface and qualities for use with different applications like mobile telephone displays, computer screens, digital posters, and similar devices. In his final MA project Ferreira developed a strategic communications and business concept for the product and perfected the necessary production processes.
