This public transport information system combines the use of conventional print media with the possibilities of individually tailored electronically presented information. The user can obtain individual travel information in a few easy steps, and can print it out directly or transfer it to a mobile telephone. GPS and RFID positioning technologies enable the latest information to be obtained. The user can also call up information about tourist attractions, and the system is characterized by easy of use and by fast, low-error operation.
