University of Design elects new Vice-Rectors
Professors Michael Götte and Ulrich Schendzielorz in office for three years

Schwäbisch Gmünd (hfg/imü). The Senate of the University of Design elected new Vice-Rectors with a large majority, and Professors Michael Götte and Ulrich Schendzielorz will become members of the Directorate with immediate effect.

The Vice-Rectors are permanent voting members of the Directorate, together with Rector Cristina Salerno and Chancellor Wolfgang Neumann. The Vice-rectors are voting members of the Senate, the University Parliament, by virtue of their elected position.

Michael Götte (44) is Professor of Communication Design. He was appointed in the summer semester of 1997 to teach the foundations of visual and media design. This is his second consecutive term as Vice-Rector.

Ulrich Schendzielorz (48) was appointed in the winter semester 2004/5 as Professor of Communication Design. Before studying Communication Design in Schwäbisch Gmünd he completed studies in Library Science and Arts in Stuttgart.

The new Vice-Rectors will serve until 2009.
