Learning outcomes

After completing this module successfully you will have mastered the fundamental techniques of freehand drawing of figures, technical objects, and spaces for notation and ideation when designing. You will know the fundamental terms and methods of projection for three-dimensional objects. You will be able to draw real or imagined spaces and will be familiar with scaling methods.

Module content

Technical and narrative drawing techniques. Sketching, storyboarding, and technical drawing, including axonometric and other perspectives. Depth effects such as shading, overlapping, textures, and aerial perspective.
