Prof. Biggel joined the University in 1992 to teach the design of product systems specializing in technological and structural aspects. Born in 1957, he studied engineering at the Technical University, Ulm.
His freelance cooperation with Produkt Entwicklung Ulm (Prof. Roericht) and Wilkhahn since 1984 included the development of the Picto office chair. Guest lecturer at the Academy of the Arts, Berlin since 1989. He founded the design office “7.5 Projektgruppe” in 1992, and has carried out development work for Pohlschröder and Herman Miller, USA since 1993.
