Prof. Biste joined the University in 1995 to teach visual communication, specializing in the illustration of scientific and technical data and processes. Born in 1952, he studied graphic design in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
He has worked as a freelance designer in Schwäbisch Gmünd since 1979 creating communication material for industrial groups, scientific presentations for publishing houses, and publicity material for public bodies. Guest lecturer at the Fachhochschule Darmstadt 1983-4 and Schwäbisch Gmünd 1980-94.
