Prof. Reichert has been at the University since 1992 and teaches foundations of 2-dimensional design and design methods. Born in 1960, she studied visual communication in Schwäbisch Gmünd and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Berlin, graduating in 1987 with her thesis “Proportion: historical and design aspects”.
In 1986 she founded her office konzeption + gestaltung GmbH in Berlin, and has worked on design concepts for companies and instituions, developing graphic interfaces. She currently studies and publishes on the design of interfaces and the theory of visual signs.
