Analogue tactile experience meets the future of AI: in collaboration with STAEDTLER, the Master’s in Strategic Design programme demonstrates how we can make creative work future-proof.

HfG Master’s students have impressively demonstrated just how crucial user-centred design is to tackling real-world social crises.

On 30 June 2026, the screen installation – visible from afar – was completed directly opposite the railway station. This makes the HfG a recognisable feature of the city and showcases it in the public space.

No fewer than five students from the HfG, split into three teams, reached the final of this prestigious competition. This once again demonstrates the HfG’s outstanding role in training the next generation of designers.

The HfG is among the winners of the latest round of the federal and state-funded Women Professors Program. As a result, the HfG will be able to secure additional funding to finance professorships that will be filled by women.

Twice a year, the HfG hosts a Master’s Information Day. The Strategic Design Master’s program combines the fields of design, management, and research into an advanced degree program.
